5/7/22 - Brighton Vs Manchester United Over 2.5 Goals
The over under model likes this game to go under, but I am going to go against the model with this one. Manchester has three defenders out and has let in 2 goals a game over the past five. Seems like they are trying to figure things out with three defenders out. Ronaldo is playing so he might go ahead and get three himself. I actually think I like Brighton in this one so if Manchester can find the net then Brighton will hopefully be able to take care of the rest.
5/7/22 - Burnley Vs Aston Villa Under 2.5 Goals
The model has this one going under and I would agree. Burnley is down two forwards and Westwood in the midfield. That is a lot to overcome for Burnley. Aston Villa is averaging 0.6 goals in the last five. Burnley can not afford to loose since they are one position away from relegation and are only two points up Everton. Aston Villa is in a three way tie at thirteenth so a lose would slide them down the rankings. With the lack of firepower for Brighton, the lack of recent success for Aston Villa, and every point being meaningful for each of these teams this one looks like its going to go under.
5/7/22 - Liverpool Vs Tottenham to Win
The model projects this one to go over and I agree. Both of these teams have been scoring a ton of goals lately and could get the over on their own. However, I dont trust Tottenham in this one. Liverpool has shut out four of the last five teams. Tottenham having a couple of midfield options out could mean Liverpool has the ball the entire game. I am not sure Tottenham will score so I dont feel confident in the over. In this one I feel better in a Liverpool win so opposed to the over under.
